Imagine light bulbs that keep on lighting long after you’ve lived your life and gone. A 2010 European documentary “The Light Bulb Conspiracy” outlines how planned obsolescence was introduced in the early 20th century with light bulbs – and it’s all designed to keep us buying and buying and buying.
